NUR2 520 : Health Assessment in the Elderly
The purpose of this course is to present the knowledge required to conduct an in-depth assessment of health and well-being of the elderly and their families in the community and in health care settings. A seminar/lecture format will be used to elaborate a broad definition of health including it's physical, psychological, social and functional dimensions. Students will discuss the wide variety of factions that can be seen as "determinants" of health.
